About Lin

Hello, I’m Lin — a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, glass art, and conservation photography. Art has been a lifelong passion and guiding force in my life, shaping both my creative voice and my connection to the world around me. Through each medium, I explore emotion, form, light, and narrative, creating works that invite reflection, engagement, and appreciation for both artistic expression and the natural environment.

My artistic journey began with painting, where I first discovered the power of color and composition to convey feeling and tell stories. Working on canvas allows me to translate imagination into visual form, with each piece evolving through an intuitive dialogue between artist and surface. Over time, I expanded my practice into sculpture, embracing the challenge and reward of working in three dimensions. Using materials such as clay, metal, and wood, I create tactile works that occupy space and encourage viewers to experience art from multiple perspectives.

Glass art later became an integral part of my creative repertoire. Drawn to its luminous qualities and transformative nature, I work with glass to explore the interplay of light, color, and structure. Whether shaping delicate forms or crafting intricate stained glass compositions, this medium allows me to merge technical precision with artistic intuition in ways that continuously inspire me.

Alongside my studio work, conservation photography holds a deeply meaningful place in my practice. Through my lens, I seek to capture the beauty and fragility of the natural world while raising awareness about environmental preservation. I believe art can serve as a powerful catalyst for understanding and advocacy, and my photographic work aims to inspire respect, connection, and stewardship of our planet.

Throughout my career, I have exhibited in galleries and participated in community art initiatives that celebrate creativity and collaboration. These experiences have enriched my artistic growth and allowed me to engage with diverse audiences, fostering meaningful dialogue around art, nature, and creative expression.

At the heart of all my work is a desire to create art that resonates — visually, emotionally, and thoughtfully — while encouraging a deeper appreciation for both artistic craftsmanship and the world we share.
